Basic entry requirements for all applicants
1. Applicant must hold a secondary school certificate (M.6) or its equivalent
2. The following criteria must also be fulfilled:

4. GCE, GCSE or IGCSE results must not be lower than "C" in five different subjects (Excluding GCE 'O' Level for Thai Language);
5. IB exam results must not be lower than "4" in five different subjects;
6. GED results must be at least 2250 scores, combining all five subjects taken, and the score in each subject should reach a minimum of 410;

- New Zealand results must be equivalent to an average of 2.5 due to the calculation of Embassy of New Zealand;
- If an applicant does not have a GPA result in hand, he/she must submit a transcript, grade report, or relevant documents showing academic performance on the Application Submission Day.

- TOEFL with a total score of 173 (computer-based) or 59 (internet-based) or above, OR;
- TU-GET with a score of 500 or above, OR;
- SAT (Critical Reading) with a score of 350 or above OR;
- National Entrance Examination or O-Net with a minimum score/percentage of 70 (English) and 50 (Social Studies)
- IELTS overall band score with a score of 5.0 or above, OR;

Application forms submission (during office hours)
Applicants must submit their application form and other relevant documents at the Faculty of Liberal Arts, Thammsat University (Prachan Campus). Those unable to submit these by themselves may request another person to process the application on their behalf, in which case an authorization letter and the authorized person's national ID card are also required
Application fee payment
Applicants must pay a non-refundable fee of Bt. 600 payable to: Thammasat University, savings account no. 026-1-52083-0, Krungthai Bank, Thatian Branch.

1. A completed application form with three 1½” photographs:
2. A copy of secondary school certificate (or its equivalent) or a copy of documents as stated in section 3.2.1 (a certified true copy must also be produced);
3. A copy of national ID card (for Thai citizens) or a copy of passport (for non-Thai citizens) (a certified true copy must also be produced);
4. A copy of exam results as stated in section 3.2.2 (a certified true copy must also be produced);
5. A proof of fee transfer;
6. For applications by proxy, an authorization letter with a certified copy of the authorized person’s national ID card must be produced;
7. Applicants from Thai schools (public or private) who have not completed their M.6 (มัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 6) must show evidence that they are a registered student and they are expected to graduate by July 2013. This must be accompanied by proof of successful fulfillment of at least five semesters of high school with a minimum GPA of 2.5;
8. Applicants working towards an Equivalent Secondary School Qualification (การศึกษานอกโรงเรียน) must show proof that they are following the last semester of the curriculum. The BAS programme does not accept applicants who will not officially graduate by July 2013. This must be accompanied by proof of successful fulfillment of at least five semesters of high school with a minimum GPA of 2.5;

Applicants from international schools in Thailand must show evidence that they are studying in Grade 12 or its equivalent, or that they expect to graduate at that level prior to registration (end of July 2013). This must be accompanied by proof of successful fulfillment of at least five semesters of high school with a minimum GPA of 2.5;
10. Applicants from schools abroad must show evidence that they are studying in Grade 12 or its equivalent, or that they expect to graduate at that level prior to registration (end of July 2013). All overseas qualifications must be submitted to, accredited and approved by the Thai Ministry of Education. Accreditation by the Ministry must be made available to the BAS programme no later than the first day of the 1/2013 semester. This must be accompanied by proof of successful fulfillment of at least five semesters of high school a minimum GPA of 2.5 Applicants will forfeit their right of entry should these criteria not be met.
11. Applicants with international qualifications (GCE, GCSE, IGCSE, IB etc.) must be in possession of appropriate certificates, or must show evidence that they have taken these qualifying examinations prior to the application submission day. These qualifications must be submitted to, accredited and approved by the Thai Ministry of Education. Accreditation by the Ministry must be made available to the BAS programme no later than the first day of the 1/2013 semester. Applicants will forfeit their right of entry should the results fail to qualify for accreditation. An additional requested document is a letter of reference written by an instructor from your high school, starting your suitability to pursue tertiary education and your personal behavior.
N.B. Regardless of the outcome of application, the BAS Programme WILL NOT return the paid application fee.
